What if my shoulder still hurts even after doing this warmup?
If you had a past injury recently that’s the main reason. Go light with your pressing movements and keep perfect form to prevent another bad injury from occurring. And over time repeating this warmup the pain will slowly go away!
Do I have to do this before my pressing movements?
No. But it certainly does help if you do instead of rushing into heavy weights which is a high risk of injury.
Why is there a back movement in here if I’m warming up for a pressing movement?
Doing back movements like lat pull downs will warmup your back and lats which are actually big stabilizers when your benching so it will help improve your performance!
