Welcome to ARRIVE: a 30 Day Yoga Journey. I’m so glad you are here. 🥰 Throughout the next 30 days, your goal is simply to show up. Because oftentimes arriving for ourselves is the hardest part. Each day will comprise of a 10(ish) minute yoga class. ‘Ish’ being the key word! 😉 It might be 8 minutes. It might be 11 minutes. But always around 10 minutes. I’ve found in my own yoga practice that sometimes committing to longer classes can prevent us from showing up in the first place. It’s almost like tricking the brain by committing to only 10 minutes instead of 45 or 60 minutes. It sounds more feasible? Less intimidating? Yet don’t underestimate the power of a few moments. Each of the classes will provide a different word or theme for the day. It’s my intention to explore this theme on and off your mat. What it means to you in your yoga practice and also your day-to-day life. Maybe these themes inspire journaling, or even more movement after the class has ended. Remember, you are your own best teacher, and I’m simply a guide offering suggestions. Take these classes and make them into whatever you need. You might take a long savasana, or meditation or hold poses for longer. This is for all levels and all bodies. Modifications are always offered. And you need NOTHING to arrive. We are lowering the barriers to entry. And what I mean by that is I want to make it as easy as possible for you to show up. So if you don’t have a yoga mat, no problem! You can easily partake in this challenge anywhere that has a supportive surface and utilize items around your home for support. I can’t wait to dive into the next 30 days. I got you covered! Yoga, Mobility and Mindfulness.

Hey lovely humans! I began yoga in early 2014 after I retired from 10 years of professional swimming and coaching. I was completely burnt out and had no idea what the next season of life looked like for me. I found yoga through Instagram and began participating in challenges which led me to teach myself and learn yoga from home over the course of a year. I later on went to get my 200 hour YTT, and also completed another 120 hours of a standing acrobatics and yoga certification. I graduated from another 500 hour advanced TT in April 2020. My flows are highly focused on core strength, and syncing your breath to your movement which I believe is the foundation to a functional and sustainable practice. We will spend time creating heat by moving slowly and intentionally through poses and transitions. I can’t wait to sweat with you all!
