    From the time I was a young girl, I grew up a very avid athlete. I played competitive basketball until I was 18 years old, then began a competitive tennis career, advancing to Canadian University National championships. When I was 16, I started taking hormonal birth control. As I started the birth control pill, I gained over 40 lbs, lost my drive for physical activity, and lost myself. In 2020, I re-discovered my love for physical activity. I introduced myself to weight training and the rest is history. I have lost over 50 lbs and have maintained my routines in and out of the gym for over 4 years!
