Personal Trainer
My name is Mary Therese! I am currently a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM, Certified Yoga Teacher Trainer-200 hour, as well as Tennis Professional.

I have always been involved in sports. I grew up playing soccer, softball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, and of course pick up games of kickball with the neighborhood. As a family, we were always very active, and competitive! Living a life of movement was engrained from a very young age.

Attending college I became a Division 1 walk on student athlete for the woman’s tennis team. I learned in that environment what it was like to really train and refine muscles, movement, mobility, strength (mentally and physically), as well as flexibility. Training the body and mind was a HUGE part of playing at such a high level.

Having the busy schedule of activities lead to my diverse skill set and knowledge of dynamic and functional movements. Post graduating college most of my physical activities got put on hold so I could join the “real world” of desk jobs and caring for others. I quickly discovered having a business degree and stable 9-5 was not in my cards.

So now to here, Playbook. You’ll see my skill set come full circle! In this app you’ll see programs of all durations, types, and levels. The basics are the basics for a reason and to build and enhance on those is so important to me. I will encourage you to start where you feel is best for your body, and to make your own judgements about each program, workout, set, and exercise.
