My name is Maria. I am an experienced yoga teacher, certified health coach and Founder of Holixtic, a brand that generates yoga and wellness content. I have been practicing movement, dance, yoga and meditation for much of my life. I’ve taught Ashtanga, Vinyasa and many forms of yoga and movement for over 10 years. I have a rooted practice of over 20 years in the Ashtanga Yoga method under the guidance of Sri K Pattabhi Jois, Sharath Jois and Eddie Stern. I have taught in the best studios in NY, online and travel to teach high profile clients, retreats, workshops and in Wanderlust Festivals. I teach the traditional method of ashtanga yoga as well as my own dynamic unique blend of creative flows that combine strength, flexibility, grace, focused breath and stillness. I’ve developed my style through years of dedicated practice, study and my own exploration in movement, dance, yogic practices and motherhood. I empower women to connect to their divine feminine. Through a contemporary approach to the world ritual I thrive to create a safe space for collective and personal exploration for modern woman. I believe in the body being the vessel for transformation and in the powerful alchemy of combining movement with conscious breath. By using movement as medicine I inspire my students to connect to the divine present moment; a direct portal to our own intuition and inner wisdom. Yoga means union. As most of us live very fragmented lives my journey to wellness is a 360 approach. An invitation to become whole and connect to our true selves through yogic, movement and spiritual practices and return home. My goal is to create an accesible space to nourish all your physical, spiritual and emotional body. This is not just an asana (postures) app. It is a yoga studies and wellness universe where I will share tools to uplift and empower you as a whole. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
