What is the goal of the program? The goal of this program is to improve flexibility, mobility and help you de-stress.
What are the Recovery Flows? Focuses on stretch; positions (postures) that are held for longer periods of time targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It's slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.
What are the Mobility Flows? Mobility is the ability to move freely.
Being mobile is a crucial aspect of being healthy. If a person is not able to move a joint freely through its full range of motion, then they are already putting themselves at an increased risk of injury before even attempting to pick up a weight and load that range of motion.
These flows will help you recover your mobility and improve your range of motion to prepare our bodies for the stress of training.
What are the Active Flows? The Active Flows are power yoga inspired.
They are recommended for those days when you want to move and stretch but don't want to do go too intense.
They will help you obtain body awareness and flexibility as well as strength.
How to schedule the program into a week? The Recovery Flows are meant to be done as much as possible. The more the merrier! :)
I'd recommending doing them every day after a workout or at night before going to bed.
