Hey! My name's Kiana and I'm here to help you connect to your body, self, & femininity through the practice of pole dance, while teaching you other skills and modalities that aid in this process such as handstand-specific training, flexibility coaching, and yoga.
Using movement as a healing modality is something I really believe in. Getting in touch with your body is a gateway towards establishing a deeper connection with yourself. And so, I hope that I'll be able to help you do that here.
Prior to pole, I started out as a gymnastics coach for 10+ years after having competed nationally for 6+ years. Shortly after, I began my yoga journey where I started teaching specifically to handstands and mobility/flexibility work. I've been teaching yoga, handstands & flexibility since 2015. After doing this for many years, I started practicing, performing, and teaching pole dance in 2021 and have fell in love ever since!
Now, I focus primarily on teaching pole dance with my teachings fusing together everything that I’ve learned along the way in my movement and teaching journey, including elements from my gymnastics, handstand, flexibility, and yoga teachings.
