What are the goals of the program? The Timeless Body // Primal Movement program has 3 primary goals:
✅ Introduce you to the practice of PRIMAL MOVEMENT for health & longevity.
✅ Build foundational CORE STRENGTH & functional MOBILITY.
✅ Develop greater BODY AWARENESS & MINDFULNESS that will translate to better movement & safety in the real world.
How to get the best outcome of the program? For best results, follow along with the sessions and use the coaching cues to modify the movements to work for your body.
To maximize each class, STAY MOVING during instruction / practice rounds.
During instruction, beginners should follow along to learn new movements. Intermediate to advanced practitioners should practice the movements on their own.
How to schedule the program into a week? Perform 3 sessions per week for a 4-week program OR perform 2 sessions per week for a 6-week program.
These workouts can be done in conjunction with other forms of training such as resistance or endurance training.
Make sure to prioritize your rest and recovery when adding more volume to your training schedule.
What do I need to participate in this program? Timeless Body // Primal Movement is a bodyweight training series. You’ll just a mat or open, comfortable floor space.
Optional: blocks, bolsters, and light weights can all be incorporated to tailor the movements to your needs & ability level.
Who are these workouts for (skill-level)? EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Beginner
Season 1 is designed for those with little to no experience with primal movement. Classes feature a lot of instruction / explanation to guide beginners along the path.
DIFFICULTY: Intermediate.
These workouts are challenging in terms of intensity & complexity. Participants should have a base of fitness before starting this program.
My intention is to provide in-depth instruction, coaching cues, and movement modifications while still offering a challenging workout that flows.
The movements in each workout should be modified to your experience &/or energy levels.
The quality of the audio is less than perfect. There is a slight echo that may be slightly off-putting to some viewers.
Due to COVID-19, I have had to explore new filming options for the indoor season and am still working out the kinks. As a one-person operation, there is always a learning curve on new projects, especially on the tech side of things.
I apologize for this inconvenience. I am aware of the issue and actively seeking viable solutions for future videos. Your understanding is appreciated.
