FAQ

How do I know if I'm ready to practice advanced classes?
These classes are designed for people who are familiar with the yoga practice. This means that you might be strong, flexible, and have great body awareness- but if you've never practiced yoga, please start with Intermediate instead. I assume all students here have that foundational knowledge of yoga and specific postures, so we move a little more quickly through them. We spend more time on the peak pose, the transitions, or brand new shapes.
What makes a class advanced?
A class can be advanced based on the peak posture we're working into. Or, based on the transitions throughout the class. It can also be advanced by exploring less classic or traditional shapes. Remember, a class can move slow and still be advanced. Think about it- it's a lot harder to HOLD a plank, rather than to just glide right through it with only one breath.
