About Katie Maurer

Online personal trainer

Hi I’m Katie! I am a certified Pilates teacher through the 750 hour Pure Body teacher training program. I have a Master’s in Movement Science from the University of Michigan and a BFA in Dance from Point Park University. My background is in dance and through dance I fell in love with Pilates. Pilates taught me body awareness and better control over my movements in order to prevent injuries. So naturally I wanted to teach Pilates to help facilitate the same changes for my clients. Through my channel you’ll receive access to workouts that are geared towards improving functional movement patterns, enhancing mobility, and increasing core strength. I will share full Pilates mat workouts as well as shorter videos with a specific focus. All workouts will be accessible to your body in order to work towards your individual goals.
