Model, Fitness Trainer & Nutritionist

Julia is a model, nutritionist and certified personal trainer, specializing in exercise recovery. Julia studies at the University of Toronto, and she is double majoring in psychology and criminology with a minor in sociology. Julia emphasizes finding a balance in your exercise routine, and believes that it is significant to do things that make you happy (eating good food etc) while maintaining an active lifestyle. Julia’s passion for a fit and healthy lifestyle has evolved over time. From a young age, Julia has trained in many sports such as volleyball, basketball, dance, soccer, cheerleading and gymnastics. Julia also competed as a fitness athlete for The Bahamas Fitness Federation, where she traveled to different countries to take part in IFBB PRO competitions. Julia’s training programs are catered towards all-around athletes with diverse fitness styles. Growing up in The Bahamas, Julia loves the outdoors. When she is not in the gym, working as a model or playing sports, she is outside hiking, snowboarding, wakeboarding or diving etc. Fitness for Julia is a lifestyle. She wants to remind you all that everyone has a different body type and body composition. One person may lose weight faster, and one may put it on easily. Many apps nowadays say ‘get ripped in 4-6 weeks’ etc - Julia does not believe in this philosophy. We may see a difference in 4-6 weeks of training, however, we want to achieve life lasting health and fitness. Julia’s goal is to help and support everyone in changing their lifestyles to be healthy and happy with their bodies.

Julia’s training is designed to help you achieve your fitness goals realistically. With a focus on building strength and endurance, Julia will help you maximize your recovery abilities with mobility and stretching sessions. Julia does not believe in “diet” culture. She believes in sustainable eating habits that make up a healthy lifestyle. Julia will help you enjoy foods you are eating, without feeling restricted and whilst seeing results!
Training Requirements
Julia has created a variety of workouts and training programs in order to accommodate multiple fitness situations and goals. Julia has created many different workouts - some will require access to a training facility, and others mail not require gym access.
