Welcome to BALANCE! This 12 week program truly is the perfect mix of my favorite forms of exercise, strength training and low-moderate intensity steady state cardio! This balance of strength and cardio is what led to me being able to easily maintain my physique; not to mention the training split and style is so sustainable and can fit into just about anyone’s schedule! The training in this program is designed to help maintain lean muscle mass while dropping body fat when paired with a proper diet! This program is gym-based but can definitely be modified to be done at home with dumbbells and resistance bands if needed; simply do the exact same movements but using the equipment you have access to. The training split involves 3 strength focused days, 3 cardio focused days, and 1 rest day per week! The Training Split⤵️ Monday: lower body lift (glute/ham focused) Tuesday: zone 2 cardio Wednesday: upper body lift Thursday: zone 2 cardio Friday: lower body lift (glute/quad focused) Saturday: long outdoor walk Sunday: rest day ENJOY :)

My name is Julia! I am a former Division 1 collegiate gymnast (West Virginia University) and I’ve been a certified personal trainer since 2019! College athletics is actually where my love for fitness started and the reason I became a personal trainer. We had team strength and conditioning workouts each day and I absolutely LOVED them…no matter how brutal they were in the moment, I was obsessed. It was so fascinating seeing how what we did in the weight room impacted our performance at practice. Along with being a student athlete I studied sport & exercise psychology as well as nutrition & food studies! Mind, body, and fuel are my specialties! I am extremely passionate about health and fitness and there’s nothing I love more than helping others feel like their best, most confident selves! To me, that’s something money can’t buy and nothing compares to that feeling once you achieve it! I’m all about living an active, healthy, balanced lifestyle that’s both enjoyable and sustainable!! My workouts and programs have helped hundreds of men and women get in the best shape of their lives because they’re efficient, effective and fun!! It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
