About the program

Welcome to HYBRID! This 12 week program is designed for those who want to blend strength training and endurance training! Just keep in mind that strength training and endurance training kind of work against one another. Strength training tells your body to get stronger while endurance training tells your body that it doesn’t necessarily need to hang onto all your muscle mass. My advice: eat plenty of protein & push yourself with the weight selection during your lifts…don’t just go through the motions, you want to be able to hold onto as much muscle mass as possible. The cardio in this program isn’t anything crazy so you should still see amazing results when it comes to building lean muscle mass while also improving your cardiovascular endurance! The Training Split Monday: lower body Tuesday: zone 2 cardio Wednesday: upper body Thursday: interval run Friday: lower body Saturday: distance run Sunday: rest day ENJOY :)

    My name is Julia! I am a former Division 1 collegiate gymnast (West Virginia University) and I’ve been a certified personal trainer since 2019! College athletics is actually where my love for fitness started and the reason I became a personal trainer. We had team strength and conditioning workouts each day and I absolutely LOVED them…no matter how brutal they were in the moment, I was obsessed. It was so fascinating seeing how what we did in the weight room impacted our performance at practice. Along with being a student athlete I studied sport & exercise psychology as well as nutrition & food studies! Mind, body, and fuel are my specialties! I am extremely passionate about health and fitness and there’s nothing I love more than helping others feel like their best, most confident selves! To me, that’s something money can’t buy and nothing compares to that feeling once you achieve it! I’m all about living an active, healthy, balanced lifestyle that’s both enjoyable and sustainable!!
