About the program

This challenge consists of 31 workouts (one for each day of the month). The workouts are a mix of strength, mobility, balance, stretching, plyometrics, and running. Each workout is designed to be completed in less than 45 minutes. The workouts also contain a few brand new movements that, as of the date of publication, are not included in any of my other programs! One winner will receive $200 cash!     The Challenge: The challenge starts on 10/1/24 and runs through 10/31/24. There are 31 workouts that are intended to be done in order (one workout for each day of the month) Prize: One winner will receive $200 cash! How to win: Do the workouts, challenge yourself, and go hard! Post about your workouts on Instagram, tagging @running_fitness_dude (required). Motivate and inspire others to do the same. You do not need to complete every workout to be eligible for the prize, however, you should be challenging yourself to do as many as possible. It is a challenge after all! I will select one winner in November 2024. The winner will be contacted by me via email or direct message on Instagram.
    What are the goals of this challenge?
    To stay consistent and get 1% better every day! The functional training style workouts will help you gain strength, balance, and endurance, improve athletic performance, and reduce risk of injury.
    Do I have to complete every workout to win the prize?
    No. You do not need to complete every workout in order to win the prize. However, you should try! This is a challenge after all! The only "requirement" for being eligible for a prize is to inspire and motivate others to join this challenge by posting about it on Instagram (tagging me - @running_fitness_dude) during the challenge period.
    How do I fit these workouts into my schedule?
    There is one workout per day, every day of the challenge. Each workout is designed to be completed in 45 minutes or less. You do not need to complete every workout in order to win the prize. However, you should try! This is a challenge after all!
    How long is each workout?
    The workouts are intended to be completed in 45 minutes or less. Some workouts are more challenging than others, and some will take longer to complete than others, depending on your experience level. However, most workouts will take around 30-45 minutes to complete. The workouts are short, but effective. It's also taken into consideration that you will be training every day during this challenge. Each workout is intended to be difficult, but not so difficult that you are unable to train the following day. This challenge is about being consistent and getting 1% better every day!
    What kind of workouts are included in this program?
    The workouts are a mix of full body strength, mobility, plyometrics, and running (or walking). There are 31 total workouts (one for each day of the month), broken down as follows: - 7 lower body focused sessions - 6 upper body focused sessions - 3 full body sessions - 12 easy runs (with dynamic warmups) - 3 interval/sprint sessions
    Who is this program designed for (skill-level)?
    The workouts are designed for all levels. Beginners should go slow, use less weight, and focus on form. Modifications are included for some of the more challenging movements. p.s., When you buy this program, you get it for life. Meaning you can access it even after the challenge is officially over. Repeat the workouts whenever you want, scaling them up with more weight/resistance/reps as your fitness increases. You can also keep track of your progress using the tracking feature inside my app.
    What equipment do I need?
    This program assumes that you have access to a full service gym with standard gym equipment. However, depending on your experience level and knowledge of movement variants, you should be able to do most of the workouts at home if you have access to some or all of the following equipment: * Bands (loop and long) * Dumbbells * Pilates ball * Barbell with weights * Bench, box, or chair (some form of sturdy, elevated structure) * Sliding discs * Foam roller Also recommended you have a running watch or access to a track or treadmill so that you know how far or long you are running.     Warmups?
    Each workout includes suggested warmup movements designed to help prime your body high performance activity.
    Modifications?
    Yes. Modifications are included within each workout for some of the more challenging movements.
    Is this program a PDF?
    No. This program is run thru my app, which means you can easily access the workouts from anywhere on your phone. Once you purchase the program and download my app, you will have access to the program inside the app.
    Lifetime access?
    Yes. When you purchase this program, you get it for life. Meaning you can access it even after the challenge is officially over. Repeat the workouts whenever you want, scaling them up with more weight/resistance/reps as your fitness increases. You can also keep track of your progress using the tracking feature inside my app.
    Is this program included with a subscription to your app?
    No. A subscription is separate. This program is only available on a one-time purchase basis and is not included with a subscription to my app.
    How do I get started?
    How do I get started? 1) Purchase the program 2) Download my app (if you haven’t already) 3) Once inside my app, you will have access to the October 2024 Challenge program 4) Start doing the workouts. Challenge yourself, share your experiences on social media, and inspire others to do the same!
    Do these things to get the most out of the workouts:
    1) Review all instructions (including rest times) that accompany each circuit and exercise video. In the app, tap to expand circuits and press "play" on videos and circuits to ensure you don't miss any special instructions. 2) Use meaningful weight / resistance. Use enough weight such that every set after the warmup is very challenging. Most sets should be taken close to failure, meaning the last 2-3 reps feel nearly impossible. 3) Warmup. Suggested warmups are included with every workout. However, these are just suggestions. You know your body best. Perform additional warmups or additional sets of the suggested warmup as needed.
    Is a subscription to your app required to participate in this program?
    No! Everything you need is contained in this program. Of course, you may ALSO subscribe to my app if you want to, but a subscription is not required. By subscribing, you will be granted access to additional programs and workouts, plus you can direct message me inside the app whenever you have questions (I can’t answer every question, but I will always do my best to steer you in the right direction, and usually respond within 24 hours). If you do not have a subscription, then you will only have access to this program inside the app, and will not be able to send me direct messages.
    What do I do when I'm done with this program?
    First, celebrate your achievements! Second, consider taking a short break from training to give your body some time to recover. Third, start strength training again! Options: 1) Restart this program from the beginning 2) Subscribe to my app and try one of the programs available for app subscribers, including Pump + Run 3.0, or follow along with the Weekly Workouts posted inside the app. You could also try creating your own routine utilizing the large library of on demand workouts that are accessible with an app subscription. 3) Need extra attention?
