Great last drill. I do have a question though. What should I do if the defenders switch on the down screen?

We are now going to work on a rip through into your shot.  This happens when the defender is over aggressive getting over the screen.  When that happens we immediately want to rip through and go back the other direction.  Push the ball out and create space into your shot.  A good rip through can be very effective!   25 makes from mid range and three on both right and left wings

If your defender gets over aggressive and pushes over the screen it’s perfect to rip it back and go the other direction.  It’s great to use the defenders aggressiveness against them.  You always want to have counters to every move.  After you rip it back take one or two hard pound dribbles into your shot.  Get away from the defense.

Day 7- Rip Back Shot

Good drill. A little tricky without partners, but a stationary object and spinning the ball to myself worked as well.

Day 1- Regular cut

Good drill. Pretty difficult to do without a partner, though.

Day 2- Straight cut

Had some people help this time and it was way easier. If my defender cheats under on the screen, can I flare out for an open three?

Day 3- Curl Cut

I liked that drill. These are also a good way to improve on 3 point shots.

Day 4- Fade Cut

Good drill. I will definitely be able to use it in a game.

Day 5- One dribble shot

Great drill. This series is great. I used a simple curl around a down screen in a game the other day and it got us 2 points.

Day 7- Rip Back Shot
