Being raised without my mother created a significant emptiness that I sought to alleviate through the solace of food. This led to five years of binge eating, causing weight gain, diminished self-esteem, a lack of confidence, and overwhelming guilt and shame.
The deterioration of my mental and physical well-being occurred rapidly, and the turning point was when my clothes started feeling uncomfortably tight.
Realizing the urgency of my situation, I decided to enroll in a gym and began training.
I now love helping others feel confident with weights.
