Hi There! My name is Jenny MacKenzie; Mom of 3, Army Wife, Combat Vet and Saved Sinner. I am a generally happy, positive person; a Health Enthusiast, Fit Foodie, Certified Personal Trainer, Mindful Movement Specialist, Energetic Lover of Life and all that it has to offer. I am definitely guilty of trying to pack way too much in at once, but hey, I have fun on the journey! I love learning, trying all kinds of new things and passing it all along.
I am passionate about Mindful Movement and what it can do for you physically, mentally and emotionally. I move my body mindfully every day and love encouraging others to do the same! It doesn’t have to be complicated, but once your body adapts to certain movements and levels of fitness, it’s fun to push your limits and see what else it can do. Our bodies are incredible things, and I love exploring it and sharing that journey with others.
I tend to do quite a bit of explaining in my workouts. It is important to me that you understand what your body is doing when you execute a posture, especially as they get more complex/complicated.
My workouts focus on increasing your mobility, flexibility, range of motion and overall functional fitness levels. You will learn to squat more efficiently, engage your core more effectively and the like. You won’t always be a soppy sweaty mess at the end of my workouts (but often you will), but you will learn a lot, be challenged and I really hope you’ll have as much fun learning from me as I have teaching you!
