I truly started this journey in 2004 following an unexplained medical issue that led me to ask what it means to heal. Before I even stepped on a mat, I dove down the rabbit hole of alternative healing by becoming a certified herbalist and reiki practitioner. I spent years quietly honing in these crafts, afraid to be too "woo" or "hippie".
Years later I found myself taking prenatal yoga classes on YouTube when I was pregnant with her first daughter. As an athlete, I thought yoga was just stretching, but I continued to step on my mat because the time I spent continuously allowing my soul to meet my body saved me from my postpartum depression. I knew there was more to yoga than toning your ass, so I completed my first yoga teacher training in 2017 and dove straight down the rabbit hole of self discovery and how to support others to be their most favorite self.
Everything came full circle for me when I embodied my inner wild child and started teaching a form of yoga that combines the egos need for self preservation and the souls need to be seen and heard. I now own Serial Healers, a women’s wellness community and guide women to live a soul led life through classes, training, retreats, and the Serial Healers Podcast.
