A few years ago, I wouldn’t have believed this career was possible. My journey to becoming a certified personal trainer started long before I even realized it. As a little girl, I often felt alone, misunderstood, and body-shamed by the ones who “loved me”. I didn’t have the guidance I needed, and for years, I let those voices define me. That all changed when a health scare became my wake-up call, pushing me to prioritize my health and become more intentional with my workouts. I began with a group fitness class that became my safe haven—a place where I not only fell in love with movement but also with myself. Then came running,
(which I was never “good” at) it became a form of therapy, and then weight training which sparked a fire in me I didn’t know existed.
I do this for you. For women, moms, and women of color who feel like inspiration is out of reach. For those who don’t know where to start or don’t believe they can. I see you, I was you—and I want you to know, you can rewrite your story too. My greatest inspiration? My son. I want him to see that health is about so much more than chasing the “dream body.” It’s about loving yourself, taking care of the one body you have, and showing up for yourself every day🩷
