This 12 week marathon build program is exactly the program I used to accomplish my 2 hour 58 minute finish in the fall of 2023. The program calls for 6 runs per week with a single "speed" workout and long run each week leading up to race day. I believe this program will set you on the right track to crush your marathon goal time!

Frequently asked questions

What if I can only run 5x/week and this program is calling for 6x/week?
This program is not "black and white." If modifications need to be made to adapt to your life/training status that is ok! Workouts can be shifted around throughout the week to accommodate.
Is this program recommended for beginner runners?
This program is intended and designed for individuals with an intermediate-advanced level of running ability.
