There are 13 modules with over 150 educational videos in this program. In this guide you will learn:
1. Learn how to re-pattern your daily breathing back to diaphragmatic breathing and build upon this foundation to correctly engage your inner core unit.
2. Learn the positive and negative effects intra-abdominal pressure can have on your body and how to use this pressure system to get stronger, create functionality and assist in healing in your inner core.
3. Understand how the inner core unit works, the specific muscles involved, why those muscles are important, and how to properly engage/activate and balance those muscles. This knowledge will keep your body healthy, increase your overall strength and create a reactive functional core as you progress through your pregnancy, postpartum and fitness journey.
4. Know when to modify exercise during pregnancy and postpartum so that it is SAFE for YOU.
5. Learn different breath work and cues to help you understand your own body by feeling the correct inner core unit muscles activating. These knowledge and cues will help you rehab diastasis recti, pelvic floor prolapse, incontinence, and core dysfunction.
6. Gain an overall sense of confidence in the capabilities of your body during your pregnancy or postpartum journey (including setting up getting back into exercise with confidence). The core is the foundation to our bodies; if it is functional and strong, we are able to build upon it while also preventing injury.
7. Tutorials with physiotherapists on all things deep core, pushing prep for birth and healing postpartum! Including episiotomy and c-section scar work.
8. Breathing and engagement strategies to manage pressure and how to apply it to exercise to continue your journey into fitness.
