6 Week Prenatal Workout Program
Low Impact.
Dumbbell & bodyweight only. 
Workouts are separated into upper body, lower body, full body, and cardio. All workouts are 30 minutes.

Please check with your physician before performing any physical exercise. If something feels uncomfortable, STOP doing the exercise immediately. 

For information on pelvic floor strengthening and common pregnancy questions, please refer to our Prenatal Guide listed under “insights”. We always recommend seeing a pelvic floor PT to assist you during your pregnancy journey.

- Lateral raise into full front raise: 10 reps, 3 sets
- Neutral grip shoulder press: 15 reps, 3 sets

- Stand holding a dumbbell in each hand
- Keep a slight bend at the elbow
- Raise the dumbbells laterally until you reach shoulder height 
- Bring the dumbbells to the front of the shoulders
- Raise the dumbbells overhead
- Lower dumbbells down to starting position

Lateral raise into full front raise

- Stand holding a dumbbell in each hand with a neutral grip (palms in), elbows forward of shoulders
- Press the dumbbells overhead
- Lower the dumbbells with control

Neutral grip shoulder press

Circuit 1

- Zottman curls: 10 reps, 3 sets
- Dumbbell chest fly: 10 reps each, 3 sets

- Curl the dumbbells up with your palms up
- Rotate your wrists at the top 
- Lower the weights with your palms facing the ground
- Focus on a slow controlled movement

Zottman curls

- Hold a dumbbell in each hand
- Raise one dumbbell forward and up (palm turned up) diagonally in front of your body to shoulder height (in front of the opposite shoulder)
- Lower the dumbbell with control and repeat with the opposite arm

Dumbbell chest fly

Circuit 2

- Standing tricep extensions: 15 reps, 3 sets
- Bent over dumbbell row pronated grip: 15 reps, 3 sets

- Hold the dumbbells in each hand above your shoulders, elbows turned out
- Bend at the elbows, lowering the dumbbells down in front of your face
- Extend your elbows back up to starting position

Standing tricep extensions

- Hinge at the hips to lean forward
- Your knees should be slightly bent
- Pull the dumbbells up, your elbows pull wide
- Engage your back as you pull up 
- Come down in a controlled motion and repeat with the opposite arm

Bent over db row pronated grip

Circuit 3

This program is amazing! Currently 23 weeks and I think I’ll repeat this to keep me active up until I deliver😋
