Frequently Asked Questions

What are the goals of the program?
This program has been designed as an introduction into hybrid training for those interested in incorporating running into their workouts.
How to get the best outcome of the program?
It’s important that you take your easy runs seriously. Keep your heart rate within the correct zone at all times when running using the MAF method. Even if that means running slower than you want to. The MAF method calculation is fairly simple: 180 minus your age = your ideal heart rate threshold number. So if you’re 25 you want to keep your heart rate under 155 throughout the entirety of your runs. There are some modifications to that number if you fall into certain categories so do check out the MAF method website for more details on that.
