Six years ago I graduated with a degree in exercise science, I studied and passed my personal training certifications and I was super excited to start my career as a certified personal trainer. As I started working with gyms I quickly realized that there is some confusion on what fitness really is.. Fitness is not six pack abs and it’s not lifting a certain amount of weight. Fitness is the ability to be “fit” for the activities in YOUR daily life. For some it might be lifting a baby for an hour, for others it might be to overcome fear, and for most it’s to live a little longer pain-free.
I’ve spent the last six years attending seminars, specialty certifications, invested in coaching programs, and found some incredible mentors who help me shape my training philosophies and coaching skills. My Playbook is a place to learn skill, strength, and flexibility with like-minded people!
