I am a strength and mobility coach and I help every day people fit fitness into their lives. My coaching is based on your goals and values offering workouts and programs that are fun and convenient. My coaching is based around providing high-quality coaching and encouraging consistency in a fun and effective way! Six years ago I graduated with a degree in exercise science, I studied and passed my personal training certifications and I was super excited to start my career as a certified personal trainer. As I started working with gyms I quickly realized that there is some confusion on what fitness really is.. Fitness is not six pack abs and it’s not lifting a certain amount of weight. Fitness is the ability to be “fit” for the activities in YOUR daily life. For some it might be lifting a baby for an hour, for others it might be to overcome fear, and for most it’s to live a little longer pain-free. I’ve spent the last six years attending seminars, specialty certifications, invested in coaching programs, and found some incredible mentors who help me shape my training philosophies and coaching skills. My Playbook is a place to learn skill, strength, and flexibility with like-minded people!
Goals
I help recreational athletes develop strength, flexibility, and body awareness for the activities they love to do and prevent injury.
Training Requirements
My workouts can be done at home but I highly recommend something to hang from. A pull up bar and/or suspension trainers (e.g. TRX, Gymnastics Rings) are a great addition. Add 1-2 kettlebells and you have a full gym in the comfort of your home!
