About the program

The Build Strength 2.0 is a progression of our BuildHER 1.0 program. It is an evidence-based, 6-week strength training program designed by Dr. Natalie Wilson. It was created to help women build strength, feel empowered, and improve their overall fitness. The program includes 4 workouts per week (2 upper body + core workouts along with 2 lower body + optional cardio burst) with a focus on progressive overload to help you see results. Each session is about 30-45 minutes long. The only equipment needed are dumbbells + mini bands for this program. As with our BuildHER 1.0 program, it can be done in the comfort of your own home!

    About Dr. Natalie Wilson

    With years of experience working with professional, collegiate and weekend warrior athletes as a board-certified sports specialist doctor of physical therapy, I know how to prevent injury and enhance performance at all levels. As a former D1 collegiate lacrosse player and now PT, I have a special interest in the female athlete and work with countless women to help them get out of pain and get back to doing what they love.     What are the goals of this program?
    * Increase overall lean muscle mass * Get lean and burn fat * Build core strength * Improve posture * Improve mental clarity and focus
    Who are these workouts for (skill-level)?
    * The workouts are designed for all levels * Beginners: go slow, use less weight, use longer rest periods, and focus on form * Advanced: increase weight, reps and reduce rest time as you progress
    How will I get the best results?
    * Get proper sleep (7-9 hours a night is a must) * Dedicated nutrition regimen that consists only of wholesome, natural ingredients (get my nutrition guide in “Insights” section of the app) * Drink at least eight 8 oz glasses of water daily * Make sure to use active and full rest days to allow muscles to recover * Ice cold showers in the morning and after workouts are highly recommended
