Hi! We are Danielle and Kate, and we're LGTB+ moms. Pretty much why it's called The *** Agenda - you can fill that *** in with whatever work you want. With fifteen years of fitness under our belts (not even combined - which dates us, but whatevs), we've been through every gym phase in the last decade.
And the only thing we've found that works consistently is just that good ole' fashioned grunt work. Lifting heavy weights, over and over, makes the biggest difference (if you're a woman, man or anything in between).
Four kids later, we're still training. Our bodies may not be the same as in our twenties, but that's okay. We still rock our workouts. When we can find a babysitter, we go to the gym. It's why we mom the way we do.
We've got 3 boys under 5 and a 22 year old daughter (now we're really dating ourselves). We believe in effective workouts. If something takes me away from family time for 60-90 minutes a day, it better be worth it.
