This is a mobility program designed for all levels. Even if you’ve done mobility work before, there is immense value in returning to foundational movements, stretches, and breathwork to reset, reconnect, and reestablish balance in the body.
The program includes two mobility workouts per week.
Body in Balance is an 8-week mobility program that can be approached in a few different ways, depending on your experience and needs:
1. For those experienced in mobility work:
This program offers a thoughtful progression over eight weeks, guiding you from breathwork and creating length in the body to gradually loading and strengthening through various ranges of motion.
2. For those new to mobility work:
You may choose to approach this as a 16-week commitment, giving yourself more time and space to fully drop into the practice and allow your body to adapt to this new form of movement. This option can be especially supportive if you feel tight, restricted, or need more time to comfortably explore different positions.
To do this, simply repeat Weeks 1 + 2 twice before moving on to Weeks 3 + 4, and continue this pattern throughout the program.
3. As an ongoing movement resource:
Once you’re familiar with the workouts and exercises, you can return to them as needed. Some movements or circuits may become part of your warm-ups, others may support days when your body is asking for gentle, restorative movement, and the strength-based mobility exercises can serve as excellent accessory work on strength-training days.
This program is designed to serve you in many ways. Most importantly, I hope it makes you feel good. I hope it relieves tension, strengthens your foundation, and helps you move with more ease and confidence. And I hope that, on some days, it feels like meditation in motion.
