Hello! My name is Heather, aka Coach HT! I am a Women's Strength Coach located in Los Angeles, CA. I own a private women's gym and this is the App version of that! The pillars of the PHYT Training Method are strength, mobility, and flexibility. We will work to increase all of these simultaneously with a strong focus on core work.
As a child I studied Cechetti, a style of ballet focused on proper form and alignment. Ballet is the foundation for my love of movement. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a major in Psychology and minors in both Sociology and Dance.
After entering into the full time workforce, I lost my way. I didn't like how I felt or looked. My clothes didn't fit right. I needed a change. So I dove head first into the fitness world. I did every cleanse you can think of from the standard juice cleanse to the Lemon and Cayenne pepper diet. I even went vegetarian for 6 months. All I efforts of searching for the best physique. I did multiple online challenges, I even did the Herbalife...I had multiple (male) trainers myself, and I saw there was a need for women to be trained by women.
I have 3 Certifications (NASM, Pre & Post Natal, Tennis Fitness).
I am a former bikini competitor.
I ran Body Blast Bootcamp for over 3 years in person and online.
I've trained hundreds of women and changed countless lives.

I have over 15 years of experience in dance training, specifically ballet, where the focus is proper form and alignment. My goal is to build the best version of you, first by strengthening your foundation and then progressively building from there. My training style focuses on proper form and alignment, building your shape via elements taken from strength training, with a sprinkle of the more modern circuit style of training to ensure that your workouts stay fun and interesting.
