All my joints are painfully stiff (knees, ankles, feet) in the morning. This helped so much except in my knees. Can’t do 2 lunges in a row with weight on knees. Switched over to a runners hamstring stretch since I couldn’t stay on it. Should have got a blanket to put under like you did.
Maybe add a non weight bearing pose in between the 2 lunges since it’s morning...up then back down to 2nd leg or downward dog then switch legs...my 2cents.
