Hello and welcome! We’re so happy to have you here! First, let us introduce ourselves. We’re Chris and Edi, a married couple on a mission to help you become stronger and more vibrant. As certified personal trainers with over 12+ years of combined experience, we’ve worked with clients of all ages, both in gym settings and online. Sports have always been a big part of our lives. Edi began competitive swimming at just 4 years old, while Chris started playing soccer at age 5. An active lifestyle was central to both of us growing up. After college, Chris transitioned to bodybuilding-style training when he realized his body wasn’t in the shape he wanted after stepping away from soccer. He started going to the gym and hasn’t stopped since. Edi, meanwhile, was a member of the Hungarian National Swimming Team, earning several national championships and international titles. As we grew into young adults, we both faced challenges figuring out our purpose. But one thing remained clear: sports were in our hearts, teaching us self-discipline and the value of hard work. When we met, we quickly realized how similar we were. We loved learning from each other and began working as a team. Chris coached a junior hockey team in Canada, busy professionals and clients aged 30-70, while Edi worked one-on-one with clients to help them create healthier, more sustainable habits, including fat loss and fitness goals. Wanting to help even more people, we created our YouTube channel, Chris and Edi, where thousands of people now work out with us. We’re passionate about both home and gym workouts, as well as martial arts like Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Through our app, we aim to bring you our signature programs and share our love for fitness and sports. We can’t wait for you to join us on this journey. Do I need to purchase equipment?
It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
