I am a US Navy veteran, fitness coach, motivational speaker, fitness model and mental health advocate.
I have had to overcome a lot of adversity in my life starting with growing up in a Domestic Violent filled childhood. Over the years I have faced many types of adversity including being underweighted, overweight, multiple injuries, depression, addictions and sever PTSD after my military service. I found myself divorced, overweight, homeless, depressed, struggling to adjust to civilian life again and in a deep depression not wanting to live after discharged from the military. At my lowest point I attempted to take my own life in 2013 but God gave me a second chance because he had a higher purpose for my life.
Fitness and God a long with mental health therapy has allowed me to rebuild my life, improve my mental health, defy the odds, and find happiness again. More importantly it has brought me a peace, healing, improved not only my psychical health but my mental as well.
I finally have a happy positive life which is why I am so passionate about paying it forward to help others. It’s my purpose to use fitness to help others by inspiring them to never give up, encourage them to get help, showing them they are not alone and showing them they can overcome the adversities that life throws at us.
