About the program

Building graceful strength and cultivating ease arises from mastering the art of movement originating from your core. This program discards the conventional six-pack ab approach, aiming to provide you with a more comprehensive and thus more advantageous comprehension of your intricate central column. Throughout this 14-Day Challenge, we will delve deep into the intricacies of five major abdominal wall muscles. You'll explore the functions and activation of the Transverse Abdominis or corset muscle to facilitate a buoyant sensation, study the Internal and External Oblique to sculpt the side body and enhance spinal fluidity, touch upon the Psoas to refine pelvis control and stimulate the lower abdominal wall, and finally, immerse into the Rectus Abdominis, the outermost and most visible layer of our core. Approaching these muscles through various angles and exercises, each class, though brief, will be highly effective, incorporating the breath to engage the core as a unified entity. You will grasp and perfect subtle movements that significantly contribute to building uniform strength throughout your entire being. Whether your objective is to master a handstand, infuse fluidity into your practice, fortify the pelvic floor, or attain better posture, this program is designed to instill a sense of strength and effortlessness into your movements, both on and off the mat.

    About Authentic Movements

    ErinKellyArt

    Erin Kelly’s (@erinkellyart) a Yoga and Movement Educator.. She has been practicing, studying and teaching yoga since 2001 with over 2000 hours of certified educational hours. She is known for her personal grace and fluidity of movement in both practice and teaching, and can often be found upside down or cultivating creativity through unusual transitions. Her teaching style is refreshing and playful, while still incorporating precise cues and pose breakdowns to help students understand the movements of their bodies and the path to personal growth. Now a days, Erin is devoting much of her time traveling around the U.S. teaching in different city’s as the importance of experiencing each community is her prime focus. In 2023 she officially launched her Mentorship Program where she works one on one with individuals to achieve their movement, teaching and lifestyle goals.

    Frequently asked questions

    Do I need to do this in order?
    The first time around I strongly suggest it! I sometimes reference movements learned in the classes prior and the classes build on each other. Once you complete the challenge feel free to return to your favorites !!!!
    I'm a beginner, is this for me?
    Yes! This program is for everyone! Grow with the program. There will be many challenges along the way simply do your best and move on! We are working on a inside job and that takes time!
    I want to Handstand Press, is this for me?
    Yes! Come on in! All these drills I created when I was learning to press. I used them in my every day yoga practice! These movements were the very thing that I did!!!!!
    What do I need?
    Generally, I believe you can find what you need in your home. In each class I will tell you what props could be helpful!
