There are a lot of guys out there who can teach the technical aspects of pitching, and Austin is definitely one of those guys. In the 3 years we worked with Austin, what set him apart for us was his ability to communicate how to think like a pro pitcher, and in a way Brayden could grasp and execute at 12 years old. Also, he emphasized the fact that a pitcher is an athlete, and must train like an athlete. Learn to move like an athlete. And rest and recover like an athlete. Brayden was able to progress to a level of strength and conditioning he'd never achieved before during his time with Austin, and was able to do so in a way that promoted physical health rather than breaking him down.
