READ BEFORE STARTING PROGRAM!
This 8 week program focuses on post player footwork. You will be working on drop step, front pivot, and reverse pivot footwork moves in the low post. If you are needing or wanting to improve in your footwork, low post moves and counters, this program is for you!
You will see a variety of moves throughout the program from foundational moves to more challenging moves. I want you to try everything to figure out which moves you really like and then use them in any live play to get game reps before the season starts. I have also put some high post and perimeter work in this program as well. You will need 1-2 basketballs, an exercise band, and a tennis ball for this program.
You will notice that this program includes 4 workouts per week focused on low post moves that are 30-45 min long with extra workouts each week focusing on high post and perimeter work. Weeks 1&2 focus on drop step footwork, weeks 3&4 focus on front pivot footwork, weeks 5&6 focus on reverse pivot footwork, and weeks 7&8 will be review of all footwork.
It is really important that you work on your individual skills on your own and stay committed and consistent during this offseason while showing up for open gyms, practices, and games you may have. Let's get to work!
