Welcome to Your First Pull-Up!
This 12-week program is designed to progressively build the strength and skill needed to complete your first unassisted pull-up.
You’ll train 3 days per week using hangs, assisted pull-ups, holds, negatives and strength work. As you progress, you’ll gradually use less assistance and move closer to pulling your own bodyweight.
Before starting, complete the baseline assessment so you can track your progress throughout the program using this tracker:

You will track your progress: • BEFORE BEGINNING • AFTER PHASE 1 (end of week 3) • AFTER PHASE 2 (end of week 7)
Keep in mind: 12 weeks is a training plan, not a deadline. You may get your first pull-up sooner, or you may need to repeat a phase before moving forward. Both are completely normal.
This program can be done alongside your regular workouts. If doing both, complete your pull-up training first while you’re fresh. Accessory exercises can be skipped if you’ve already trained those muscles that day.
Three days a week. Less assistance. More strength.
Let’s earn that pull-up!
