The Only Barbell Program You’ll Ever Need! This is my favorite weightlifting program for beginners. This program offers 5 foundational exercises that work the full body in one session in only 3 days per week! To get started: choose 3 workout days and schedule 1 rest day in between the workouts. For example, workout on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Or choose Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Optional: Add walking or light cardio if you’re trying to lose weight. For example 30-60 minutes of walking is very beneficial. You can walk 7 days a week! If this is the only program you ever do, you’ll be successful. Master these basic exercises and you will build muscle and gain great health benefits. Complete this introductory program over 3 months to build confidence in the movements and build your strength. Then move to the Lift and Load Intermediate Barbell 1.0 program by subscribing to my app.
