What do I need to participate? * You'll need a hanging/standing heavy bag,
BOB dummy or a human partner willing to learn with you.
* Shorts or Leggings allowing you to be able to kick freely
* Hand Wraps or Boxing Gloves (or Both)
* And ofcourse a positive attitude and dedication to the program helps as well ;)
Who are these training courses for (skill-level)? * The workouts are designed for all levels.
* Beginners: Become aware of balance and fundamentals of upper-body strikes, lower-body strikes and focus on form.
* Advanced: Re-focus on the fundamental of striking and kicking while learning authentic Muay Thai passed down from Bangkok, Thailand.
What’s the schedule like? * It is best to train a new session 2x a week. To build reflex memory of that skilled move. Once your confident in executing the skill you can move on.
* On completing the training course, you may re-visit for further sharpening of your skills learned.
* And as always, remember to go at your own pace.
How will I get the best results? * Remember that learning something new can be challenging, yet keep your slate "mind" open to learning an art that has been passed down for hundreds of centuries.
* Dedicated nutrition regimen that consists only of wholesome, natural foods so you can have a focused mindset and a body that is willing to be physically active.
* Drink at least eight 8 oz glasses of water daily
* Make sure to use active and full rest days incase of needed muscle recovery.
* Use proper safety hand wraps, striking hand pads, kicking pads, shin pads, head gear if necessary etc.
